12:15 – 13:20 Pick-up Service Gather at designated locations (hotels in Tokyo) and board the bus bound for Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. 13:40 – Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal Walk to the World Trade Center Building from Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal and visit the observation deck. Seaside Top (observation deck) (20 min) Enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo’s bay area from a height of 152 meters. Imperial Palace Plaza (10 min) Admire the view at this National Garden that was formerly a private garden of the Royal Family. Enjoy the view of Nijubashi Bridge, which is said to be the face of the Imperial Palace, as well as the view of the Imperial Palace itself. Ginza (drive-by) From the window get a look at Ginza, where rows of luxury brand shops, and recently ‘fast fashion’ retailers, line the streets. Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street (45 min) Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as “Nakamise” stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops. Asakusa Boat Cruise Sumida River Cruise (40 min) Cruise around modern day Tokyo and experience the atmosphere of Edo. Sumida River Cruise may be unavailable without prior notice due to river conditions. Changes in the itinerary will be provided by the guide. As the schedule of Sumida River Cruise will be altered during cherry blossom season (expected period: mid- March – early April), arrival time may be delayed.

07:30 – 08:30 Pick-up Service This tour can be joined from various meeting points mainly located at major hotels throughout Tokyo. – 09:00 Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (120 min) Depart from Hamamatsucho and head to Mt. Fuji by bus. (Chuo Expressway or Tomei Expressway) Mt. Fuji 5th Station (30 min) The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, participants will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. Lunch Lunch is not included in the tour. Lake Ashi Cruise (15 min) This crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mt. Hakone was formed by a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago, and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji towering 30 km northwest. Admire the superb view of Mt. Fuji from aboard a ship. Mt. Komagatake Ropeway (50 min) Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Hakone Depart Hakone and return to Tokyo by bus. The bus may make stops at hotels in the Hakone area and Odawara Station. 18:30 – 20:00 Shinjuku Drop-off near Shinjuku Station West Exit

08:50 – Meet at Namba Parks 1F in front of WINS Namba Meeting Location Namba Parks 1F in front of WINS Namba 2-10-70 Nambanaka, Naniwa-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka Right next to the Central and South exits of Nankai Namba Station. 09:00 – Depart from Namba Parks 1F in front of WINS Namba Visit Nambayasaka Shrine (20 min) See the impressive Ema-den lion head statue standing 12 meters high. Osaka Central Public Hall (drive-by) A magnificent hall in Nakanoshima. Its symbolic architecture makes it one of Osaka’s most iconic structures along with Osaka Castle. Visit Osaka Castle (60 min) One of Japan’s most famous castles and the symbol of Osaka. A view of the Osaka city area can be seen from the 8th-floor observatory. Shin-Sekai Area (80 min) Enjoy Osaka’s local food, kushikatsu, at the part of Osaka known as Shin-Sekai.

Depart from Sunrise Tours Desk inside Avanti (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit) Pick-up service is available at hotels in Kyoto city. All transportation on this tour is by bus. Nijo Castle (50 min) A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If the castle is closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year’s holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead. Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 min) A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond. [Except Mondays] Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 min) See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor’s residence until about 150 years ago. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. On these days, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year’s holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event). [Mondays (and Tuesdays when Monday is a national holiday)] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine (40 min) On Mondays (and Tuesdays if a national holiday falls on the preceding Monday), this tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine’s main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.
